Apple has officially unveiled Apple Creator Studio, a “new collection” of apps designed to meet the needs of content creators and plugins/templates producers like us.
A new subscription model that brings together Apple's leading creative apps, such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage.
The questions that remain: 💭
1 - Will we finally see important feature updates for FCP and especially Motion?
2 - Is it worth paying for this package, or should we continue using the old individual licenses?
3 - How will the interaction between these apps work? (Apple already does this very well)
4 - Finally, will Apple continue to provide updates to those who have already purchased these lifetime licenses?
Motion 6.0 🤯
From what I’ve seen so far, we’ll also be getting a new version of Motion, now at version 6.0, which makes me very excited to see whether there will be some new and interesting features for plugin developers like us at Century.
I’m really curious to test, in practice, what this will bring this time, but for now, all we can do is wait!
Release and pricing 🗓️💲
Apple Creator Studio will be available on the App Store starting January 28, with plans priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year, including a one-month free trial.

Let's wait and see, and if there are really interesting things there, I think I'll make another post explaining everything to you! 😉
