Terms of Use

These terms apply to www.centurycreatives.com, its member area and the free versions we offer, all run by Century Creatives, based in Goiânia, Brazil. By using our site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Our content
Unless otherwise indicated, all content published on this website is protected by copyright and is the property of Century Creatives located in Brazil. This includes text, images, videos, graphics, logos and product files. Reproduction of this content, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization from Century Creatives or its legal representative.
2. Buying our products
Most of our products are sold today through FxFactory (fxfactory.com), which handles the checkout, payment, taxes, license activation and installation under its own terms. We may also sell products directly or through other stores. In that case, the checkout shows the price, taxes and terms that apply before you pay. The prices on our site are shown for your convenience: the price at checkout is the one that counts.
3. Refund Policy
Every Century Creatives product comes with a thirty (30) day refund guarantee. If you bought it on FxFactory, please send your refund request to FxFactory with your order details, since they process those orders.
If you bought it directly from Century Creatives, write to support@centurycreatives.com and we will refund your purchase. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests from customers who make repeated requests.
4. Your license to use our products
When you buy or download a Century Creatives product, you get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install it on your own Macs and use it in your video projects. This includes commercial work for yourself or for clients, such as client videos, ads and monetized videos. The videos you make with our products are yours.
You may not sell, share, rent, give away or redistribute the product itself or any of its files (templates, project files, graphics or sounds), or include them in another product, template pack or asset library, even if you modify them. For products activated through FxFactory, the number of Macs and the activation follow FxFactory's license terms. Free versions follow the same license as paid products.
5. Free versions
Free versions are free in exchange for a confirmed email address, and each download link is personal: it works for 30 days, up to 10 times. Please don't share download links or request free versions with automated tools. We may change or stop offering any free version at any time.
6. Member accounts
You can create an account with your email address or sign in with Google or Facebook. Please give accurate information, keep your login safe and tell us if you think someone else used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the site. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@centurycreatives.com.
7. Acceptable use
When you use our site, please don't:
try to get around download limits, security measures or the reCAPTCHA;
copy the site's content with bots or scrapers;
send spam, malware or illegal content through our forms, chat or comments;
pretend to be someone else.
We may remove comments or messages that break these rules.
8. Your messages and suggestions
What you send us remains yours. When you suggest a product idea, though, you agree that we may use it freely, with no obligation or payment to you.
9. Other services and links
Our site links to and uses services run by others, such as FxFactory, YouTube, Google and Facebook. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
10. Trademarks
Final Cut Pro, Motion and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. FxFactory is a trademark of Noise Industries. Century Creatives is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
11. Compatibility and availability
Each product page shows the app the product works with. For products installed with FxFactory, the FxFactory app shows which Final Cut Pro and macOS versions they support. Updates to macOS, Final Cut Pro, Motion or FxFactory can affect compatibility, and we work to keep our products up to date. Free versions are provided as they are. We may change, interrupt or discontinue the site or any of its features.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Century Creatives is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost data or project delays, that result from using our site or products. Our total liability for a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you, including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our site, our products or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force when you use the site is the one that applies.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute goes to the courts of Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring it where you live.
